What this site uses
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Similar rules can apply to other browser storage. The table below describes Cloudflare security cookies where used in the hosting infrastructure, and the preference used by our cookie notice.
Where Cloudflare is used, it also runs security checks as part of website delivery. We use these for security, not advertising. Our website code does not add optional analytics or marketing technologies.
Security technologies and storage needed to honour your request to hide the notice are used for those purposes. They are not switched off through a marketing-consent setting. We do not ask you to agree to optional tracking that this site does not use.
Your choices
You can close the notice using “Close notice”. Only then do we save the tab-level preference described above. You can reopen it using “Show cookie notice” in the footer, which clears that preference. If your browser blocks session storage, the notice still closes on the current page but may appear again on another page.
You can also use your browser settings to inspect, block or remove cookies and site storage. Blocking security cookies may cause additional checks or prevent parts of the hosted site from loading.
Closing the notice does not grant consent to analytics or advertising and does not send your choice to Risk Alert 247. We currently offer no optional tracking categories to enable.
External services
Where provided through our website hosting, Cloudflare supplies security and delivery technology. Cookie-related information may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States, depending on the provider’s configuration. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation and privacy policy for its purposes, retention and processing arrangements.
LinkedIn, the BBC and other external services are linked rather than embedded in our pages. Their own cookie and privacy information applies when you visit them. Our enquiry form prepares an email draft on your device; it does not store the enquiry in a cookie or submit it to this website.
Changes and questions
This notice covers riskalert247.com. We update the cookie information when our hosting or website features change. Before adding any technology that requires consent, we will provide the relevant controls and prevent its use until consent is given.
