What this notice covers
This notice covers website visitors, business enquiries and contacts for the corporate service and Monthly Radar subscriber report. It also outlines personal data used within our intelligence service.
Company information can include personal data about identifiable directors, officers, owners and other individuals. Its availability in public records does not remove the need to explain our use of it.
Enquiries and business contacts
The enquiry page asks for your name, work email, organisation, area of interest and an optional message. Please avoid including confidential case material or unnecessary personal information about other people.
The form prepares an email draft on your device. It does not submit the form to Risk Alert 247 or save its contents to this website. You can review the draft before sending it through your email service. If sent, it is addressed to Graham Barrow, Ray Blake and the Risk Alert 247 support team at Risk Alert 247.
When you email us, your contact details and message allow us to respond, arrange a demonstration and discuss your requirements. Without a reply address, we may be unable to answer. Routine business enquiries do not require you to supply sensitive case information.
We handle corporate representatives’ enquiries on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to business requests. Making an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.
Personal data in our intelligence service
Risk Alert 247 brings company information and connected context into a review. Sources include Companies House, HMRC Deliberate Tax Defaulters, Land Registry, Corporate County Court Judgements and ICIJ Offshore Leaks. See our source overview.
If you believe information about you is inaccurate, or want to ask about its use, contact dpo@riskalert247.com. Include enough detail to identify the record and explain your concern, without sending unnecessary identity documents.
How long information is kept
Retention is considered separately for enquiries, customer and subscriber contacts, accounting records, security logs and service intelligence. The information needed to answer an enquiry is different from the information needed to administer an ongoing customer relationship.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the processing and applicable conditions, you may ask to access your personal data, correct inaccuracies, erase it, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Your right to object
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests because of your particular situation. You can object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing at any time. Contact dpo@riskalert247.com.
We may need proportionate information to establish your identity and locate the relevant records. Rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions; a request does not automatically require every record to be deleted. We will explain the response and the applicable timeframe.

Our complaints process is to acknowledge receipt within 30 days, make appropriate enquiries without undue delay, keep you informed and communicate the outcome. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
